Poland 1982 World Cup futbol top
This was the top worn by the Polish national team during the 1982 World Cup, where they were placed 3rd. Their success was down to Zbigniew Boniek, who got them past group 1 by scoring a hat-trick against Belgium. Unfortunately, their success ran dry in the semi-finals when they faced Italy once again and and were beaten 2-0. They did leave the competition on a high in the third-place game by beating France 3-2 - This, along with the 1982 World Cup as a whole, would be known as the end to the golden era of Polish futbol.
